When you Sign up to Sell Avon Online, you use an Avon Reference Code to be a part of a team and will have an Avon Leadership Representative to help you get started and answer your questions. Once you choose your starter kit and fill out the online contract successfully, your starting materials will be mailed to your house within 3 – 5 business days. You can sell Avon face-to-face, you can Sell Avon Online, and you can make money by becoming an Avon leader. All representatives are given the option to set up a personal Avon eStore at no additional cost when they Sign up to Become an Avon Representative Online. By marketing your Avon eStore through blogs, social media, email marketing, YouTube, and on your catalogs / marketing materials, you can build a descent sized online business through the Avon sales and leadership opportunity. How do you get Paid Selling Avon Online? Most Avon Representatives receive 20% profit / commission from Online Avon Orders. If you reach President’s Club, you will earn 25% commission on online sales. The 20% will show up as a credit on your Avon account. If you are Selling Avon Online Only, your credit balance will continue to accumulate until Avon owes you more than $25. When this happens, Avon will do a direct deposit for the amount twice a month into your bank account. The amount will post to your Avon account on the 1st and 15th of the month and will show up in your bank account within 2 business days.

I love having Avon eCustomers because it requires less time to service these customers than traditional customers. When an Avon customer places an order on your website for Direct Delivery, Avon does most of the work for you and you still get commission for the Avon order. Although it is a nice gesture to say thank you to these customers and of course help them with any order issues, most of the time these customers are serviced with little effort on your behalf. However, if you’ve had online sales, you know it’s much harder to get online sales than traditional sales so most of the hard work and time goes into marketing your website. While I don’t suggest relying on Selling Avon Online Only, it definitely helps to have eCustomers in addition to your traditional customers.
The greatest advantage of being an Avon eRepresentative is you can service Avon customers all over the U.S. Your boundaries are limitless within the country…opening up your business to a whole new market of customers. Build your Contact List – start out by listing at least 50 contacts you know who would be interested in Avon (either buying or selling Avon). Then follow up with those contacts, let them know you’re selling Avon and ask if you can bring by the most recent Avon catalog.
Avon Home Parties – just because Avon’s main selling tool is the catalog, it doesn’t mean you can’t also have home parties. Direct selling home parties are a great way to find new loyal customers and network through your friends / family to get introduced to their acquaintances for potential new customers or team members.
Sell Avon Online – when you Become an Avon Representative Online, you are given your own personal Avon website that you can use to promote to local and long distance customers. You are also given access to the Avon Social Media Center where you can use tools to promote your Avon business on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and more.
Avon Events – whether it’s summertime or holiday selling season, events are a great way to find new customer contacts and potential recruits and even sell some products on hand. Be sure to have samples on hand and do a drawing so you are able to collect contact information for future follow up.
Fundraisers – Did you know you can do fundraisers with Avon? Find local organizations who would be interested in setting up Avon Fundraisers. Even though you may end up donating the majority of your profit to the organization, this is another great way to build your customer list for future loyal customers and increase your award sales.

Avon Catalog Sales – This is one of the most obvious ways to sell Avon and one of the reasons I started Selling Avon. I felt comfortable being able to sell through the Avon catalog. Use the Avon catalog to your fullest advantage by handing them out to people you see face-to-face. Always have an Avon catalog on hand with your information on it and an incentive for first time customers. Try giving a discount for new customers or a discount for customer referrals. Ask your current customers if they know of anyone who could use an Avon lady.
Home Parties – Just because Avon isn’t sold primarily through home parties doesn’t mean you can’t host them. Host your first home party yourself as an open house and grand opening of your business. You don’t need to have a ton of products on hand…stick with some of the Avon favorites like Skin So Soft, Moisture Therapy, and perhaps some samples of the newest products. Have catalogs on hand and give gifts for anyone who is willing to book an Avon home party within the next month.
Craft Fairs or Events – Craft fairs and events are great ways to gain a lot of prospective customers’ contact info. Even if you don’t have a lot of product on hand, you can collect potential customer info and maybe even find a few new team members. Do some sort of drawing and use the Avon contact cards to collect info. Don’t forget to follow up with these people after the event or you may have wasted your time and money. As the saying goes, “the fortune is in the follow up.” If you are going to have product on hand, try stocking up on gift sets, hand creams, lip balms, deodorants, and some of the favorite Avon brands: Glimmersticks, Anew, Skin So Soft, and more.

Like many representatives, I started Selling Avon after my first child was born. I wanted the best of both worlds; to be a stay-at-home mom and have a rewarding career. I tried a couple of other direct sales companies prior to Selling Avon and decided hosting home parties was not for me. After doing some research and finding out that Avon was the #1 direct selling company, I decided to give it a try. I liked the idea of making personal contact with customers through the Avon Catalog and not having to sell in a group setting. In the beginning, I asked myself the same question, “can you make money selling Avon?”

I work as an Avon Representative full-time so I have been able to dedicate all of my effort to making sure my Avon business succeeds. If you are willing to invest your time, a little bit of money, and your desire to succeed to make it happen with Avon, then this may be the opportunity for you. To be successful at Avon (in my opinion), you will need to 1) believe in Avon products, 2) be a hard worker, 3) have a desire to succeed, 4) provide good customer service, and 5) be willing to try new things.
If you are looking for an easy way to make money without putting any effort into it, Avon is not going to be the right company for you. Plain and simple…the harder you work at your Avon business, the more money you make. Also the harder you work at your Avon business in the beginning, the quicker you will see a payoff, and the bigger the payoff will be in the end.
As I mentioned before, there are three ways to earn money with Avon: 1) traditional sales, 2) online sales, and 3) leadership (recruiting others to Sell Avon on your team). Many of the men and women who have been successful in leadership no longer have to sell much Avon since they earn the majority of their income from their leadership checks. When you Sell Avon from Home or face-to-face to local customers, you earn up to 50% commission based on the size of the Avon order you turn in every two weeks.

$295 – $439.99: 35% – Example earnings on a $375 order: $131 per campaign / $262 per month
$440 – $924.99: 40% – Example earnings on a $750 order: $300 per campaign / $600 per month
$925 – $1574.99: 45% – Example earnings on a $1250 order: $563 per campaign / $1126 per month

Can you Make Money Selling Avon Online?
I am a true testament that you can make money selling Avon online. You can even make money selling Avon online only if that’s something you’re interested in. If you would like to Sell Avon Online and make good money at it, you should plan on: 1) writing blogs, 2) sharing all over social media, and 3) networking with others online.
Last month I sold over $5000 in Avon online alone, which would be $2250 (at 45% commission) in profit for the month. This does not happen overnight and that was my biggest online month so far. Remember I have been working at my Avon online business for over 5 years now and have just started to see a really great payoff.
When you Sell Avon Online, you earn up to 25% commission. Avon direct delivery orders ship directly from the Avon fulfillment center to your customer’s house. You are paid by Avon for online orders through credits to your account. When you accrue a credit balance over $25, you are issued a check or direct deposit by Avon twice a month.
How to Make the Most Money with Avon
The best part of Selling Avon is no two businesses are the same. Those that are successful Avon Representatives have gotten there through different paths and by taking different approaches. I have found my niche is marketing my Avon business online and selling Avon through a Licensed Avon Beauty Center (Licensed Avon Store). Both are unique selling methods but they have worked for me and earned me wonderful trips, rewarding incentives, and a solid income.
Now I am focused on growing my leadership team. By teaching others How to Sell Avon and start their own team, I am now an Advanced Unit Leader working toward Executive Unit Leader. With Senior Executive Unit Leaders making an average annual earnings in 2013 of $79,000, making it to SEUL and then National SEUL is my end goal. Advanced Unit Leader: $7500
Executive Unit Leader: $19,500

To run a successful Avon business, I recommend leveraging all of these opportunities to make the most money. Depending on how much time you have to dedicate to Avon, try to earn from all three methods: selling face-to-face, online, and starting a leadership team. When you build strong foundations in all three areas of your Avon business, you will see the greatest return.
